Max doesn't like to be held much anymore. He wants to get down and get into things!

He's discovered how to make interesting sounds come out of this thing.

He's discovered the radio ...

... and how to turn it off.

"Let's see ... where can I put this?"

Reaching for Gabe's banana shake ...

This is what Gabe does all day long ... "Hey Mom, watch this!"

These are the balloons Max always wants at Wal-Mart. You don't notice how many darn balloons you find at the grocery store until you have a fussy baby screaming every time one comes in sight! Wal-Mart actually has fewer balloons than places like Kroger and Randalls. But Max always finds them!

He immediately started barking enthusiastically when he saw the doggy lunch box in the school supplies aisle. I can't take him into the clothes section anymore because all he wants to do is get down and crawl under the racks of clothes to hide.

My library books are not safe when Max is around. He wants to scribble in them, badly.
Gabe's drawing of the day.
