Clari becomes an American citizen!

Yay!  Today Clari officially became an American citizen.

Brian threw her a big surprise party ...

Someone made her a crown and a cape and skirt in red, white and blue.

On Monday I enrolled Gabe in three co-op classes.  He will be taking World Geography, American Geography, and Rubber Stamping.

Internet is back on!

We got our wireless connection back this afternoon!

It was off for a week and a half ... when they tried to connect us to U-verse and failed.

So, these are some old pics leftover from the flood.

Flood!

Guess we got a little too much of a good thing after all ...

The pond came to the back porch to greet us (and the bottom step floated away).

Today I was supposed to take both boys to dentist appointments.

I took Gabe's to his, and then we almost didn't make it home!

I was terrified that the car was just going to float away!

Gabe has some bad cavities, down to the nerve, in teeth he is going to lose in 3-6 months.  They say that it's bad enough that it needs to be taken care of, though, even though they are baby teeth.  She suggested we use their pediatric dentist, who will be starting there in a couple weeks, to put crowns on them.

Lots of rain!

Oh, how I love to sleep when it's raining outside!

It's been raining every day, and I LOVE it!  I take Max outside and tell him how good the rain is for all the plants and the animals, and how much I love the rain.  (Maybe I am a little nuts.)

Gabe decided to catch some crawdads this morning.

He went out and got them one at a time ...

I think he caught 27 crawdads in our backyard before he was done!

Maybe we'll get to take the boat out again soon ...

... since the pond is filling up!
