Today the Black Spiders beat the Red Foxes on the soccer field ...
... and Gabe scored his first goal!
Joe scored one too! Apparently last week when our boys were at a wedding their team didn't do as well!
From the game we drove to the Crawfish Festival at Old Town Spring.
The kids got to ride some fun rides. This was Gabe's favorite, where they got to pretend they were flying.
Even Maya tried it!

To Gabe's great disappointment, they discovered several rides that Joe and Maya could ride on, but he couldn't! He's over 4 feet tall, which put him in the upper "NO" zone on the meter here. (I don't know who this kid is, by the way.)
Gabe couldn't ride this ride. I think the other kids were getting sort of burned out by this time too ...
But all in all everyone had fun.
Apparently the fun house with the crazy mirrors was a big hit. Buddy went in with the kids.

... and making Spidey do a dance on Grandma's back when she was bending down to get something.
He finally got her attention.
Max had never really ridden in a stroller before, so he was a bit nervous about it.
But he soon succumbed to sleep. (It probably helped that he had skipped his morning nap!)
It's been such a big day that this was the only nap he took, and only for 30 minutes. Now he just went to sleep at 8 p.m. I'm not sure if this is nighttime or a nap ... But my typing hasn't woken him up yet, so I'm guessing the latter. Goodnight!
