It was Silly Hat Day at Gabe's school today. This is Gabe's favorite silly hat, from his first trip to Disney World.
Gabe brought the gelatin brain back home from school! He said that the kids liked it and wanted to eat it, but the teacher said no. Two kids did the lungs and two did the heart apparently. Gabe was the only one who chose the brain for his project.
After Mom brought Gabe back from school she asked him to help carry his stuff out of the truck. This is what he chose to carry.
Leaving Mom to carry everything else, as usual! (I would have helped if I weren't carrying Max and a camera!)
Gabe brought home a flower in water that he picked for me at school ...
... and Max picked me some grass.
Gabe went to Joe's school program tonight, called Alphabet Soup.
Apparently Joe has become a much more enthusiastic eater of late. Dad said he was talking to him recently about stranger danger, and told him that a stranger might try to lure him with a treat -- like cotton candy -- but that it was a trick. Joe said that for cotton candy, he might just go anyway!
Gabe says that Joe promised him a Venom toy for something. He made this note to remind him about it. (We all know how desperately Gabe needs another Venom toy.)
Gabe is officially on Spring Break now, and Joe's starts after tomorrow! Yay for big fun!
