Well, no more smoke is blowing our way. I hear that there are some still dealing with fires, so maybe the prevailing wind's just blowing a different direction ...
This morning at 4 a.m., Gabe started puking!
He ran a low grade fever (99) at the time. He vomited until 9:30 a.m. and then stopped. The weird thing is that he never acted really sick, said he felt fine, and kept asking for food. He asked Daddy, "When am I gonna get my breakfast?!" Daddy said, "As soon as you finish throwing up!!"
Last night Max wouldn't go to sleep. At midnight he was whining to go back to the pool! "Wa' see poo! No wa' go home!"
Daddy went out and got Gabe some toys with his allowance money. A couple of Ben 10s ...
Tigra from the new Thundercats series ...
... and Mum-Ra.
He wanted me to take a picture of the new special Ben 10 CD disc that came with the Diamondhead. More freakin' toys in my house.
Up at Granny's for dinner.
Apparently a complication that's arisen with the *drought is that up the road, New (great) Granny's well has gone dry! They have no water now!
This drought is awful! Looking at the forecast for this weekend on Friday, I saw that it said "hot and dry." In this part of town that sounds like either a ridiculous understatement or a bit of dark humor, since we have been ON FIRE.
Tomorrow is the first day of co-op classes. I will go in and teach my class, but Gabe will have to stay home. Darn it!! He'll have to start class next week.
