Classroom Olympics.

Gabe is officially well today.  Feeling fine!  But he didn't meet the 24-hour wellness window in time to go to the first co-op day!

Had to teach the first class without him.

Daddy stayed home today, so he was on homeschool duty.

For the first lesson we did "Classroom Olympics."  This consisted of six events:  the paper plate discus throw, cotton ball shot put, straw javelin, left-handed sponge squeeze, right-handed marble grab, and "big foot."

I didn't take pictures, but did enjoy a class of eight good kids.  Three of them personally thanked me afterward, and one of the moms e-mailed me a thank you later.  I know public school teachers don't get this much appreciation.  Homeschooled kids are so good!

Dad built the large deck over the pond while we were gone!

Max overslept this morning, and it looks like this might be his first day since birth with NO NAP!
