No co-op!

Today was supposed to be the first meeting of our homeschool co-op.  Woke Max early to try to adjust our schedule to accommodate the 1pm meet time!

Then, two hours before meeting time, I got a call.  It turns out that 4 of the 6 families involved either had a sick family member or some kind of crisis.  So, our co-op was called off for the day!

That's okay.  My lesson will keep.  (But my yummy Mexican orange slices will not!)

Not allowing ourselves to get bummed, we went out for Mexican food for lunch!  Gabe got to use the sentence in Spanish he's been practicing:  "Yo quiero las fajitas de pollo."

Had some leftover for Daddy's dinner.  (No pictures at the restaurant because Daddy had the camera at work today!)

Feeding the turtles with Max is a favorite pastime.

Max enjoys some "boo" with Buddy.  ("Boo" means "food.")

Grandma's cartoon-drawing workshop ...

... with pupil, Joe.

Nathan takes an interest in Fidget.

Fidget is a good sport.

And Nathan is an even-tempered, happy baby.

When it's nice out in the evening the kids call it "Outside Fun Time."  Otherwise we have "Barn Fun Time."

Here's one of Gabe's character transformation drawings.  (Fire Bat is someone he made up.)

Goodnight!
