Gabe threw up! (And Fidget got stuck.)

Poor Gabe threw up all night last night.

First let me say that in a typical day, Gabe asks us if he's going to throw up probably at least five times.  We've gotten used to saying, "No, no, of course not, no."  So, when Gabe said he was worried he might throw up last night, Dan didn't take much heed ...

Here is the little boy who cried vomit.

Thankfully, Maxie is still feeling fine.  He and I played outside a lot today, hiding out in the barn when the rain poured down.

We played a little with Fidget, who had gone missing last night.  We assumed he was hanging out with the Starrs or the Lewandowskis up the street.

When Fidget still hadn't shown up late during the night, Dad thought about it and remembered hearing a slight whimpering sound under the deck.  So he went to take a look, and wound up digging Fidget out!

Fidget had dug a hole under the porch and trapped himself in it!  Poor Fidget.  He spent eight hours probably wondering whether he'd ever see the light of day again!

Max, ready to go play in the rain!

Max, having a wonderful time outside.

And Gabe, having a miserable time inside.  His temperature went up to 102, but at least the vomiting finally seems to have stopped.  More updates about the "patient" tomorrow.
