Lately while sitting quietly with Max I have been looking at pictures of rain on the computer ... just for their calming effect ...
We are having quite a drought right now!

Wonder why Max is often pointing to the camera in his pictures? It's because in order to get him to look at the camera I have to say, "Where's Mama?" (He then looks up, points at me and says, "Right there!")
Max misses the rain too. He wants more occasions to wear his Frog Boots!

... if you could still call it that. It's more like a large mud puddle now.
Our pond animals are being displaced. In the mud you can see that the raccoons come by frequently ...
As do those big herons (that probably ate every last minnow).
