This morning when it was freezing outside and the power went out, I got really nervous and called Dan to find me the phone number for Centerpoint.
But before I could hang up the phone, the power came back on. Later I added a new phrase to my vocabulary: "rolling blackout."
As most local readers probably know, a rolling blackout is when the power company knows they don't have enough power for everybody, so they take turns shutting off people's power for 10-45 minutes at a time. This happened to us three times today.

Gonna be another cold one tonight! Maybe Joe's school will get cancelled tomorrow ...? These two would love that.
