Roller skates.

We finally got some warmer weather today!  The kids were throwing sheets of ice in the pond this morning ...

By the afternoon it was nice enough to play outside!

I've been wanting to teach Gabe to roller skate, since I remember how much fun that was when I was his age!  So today we went and picked up a couple of pairs of skates!

His technique needs work.  But I think this could be fun to do in the barn/driveway if he can pick it up!

At this point he still prefers the scooter.

I remember that when Gabe was Max's age, he was just as obsessed with trucks as Max is now.  It's funny to see Max always carrying around a toy truck in each hand.  Gabe did the exact same thing!
