Yesterday while we were doing math, Gabe was fooling around with a slinky instead of doing his work. He got the slinky wrapped around the chair and couldn't get it off. Already irritated that he wasn't doing his math problem, when he asked for my help with the slinky I told him, "You figure it out. That can be a brain bender for you."
Well, today Max wrapped the slinky around the chair. Gabe said, "Look, Mom. Max got a brain bender!"
Gabe now has a pen pal who loves Ben 10. We sent him this picture today. His name is Achilles, and he lives in Greece on the island of Crete. (This sounds a little unbelievable, doesn't it? Like maybe if Gabe's name was George Washington and he lived in New York City or something. Still, he seems so far to be legit!)

... but we had to take it with a grain of salt, considering that this was Dan's!
