Dad came to co-op with us today and helped find specimens under the microscope, and around the grounds, for our lesson on fungi!
Afterward we went to the park with co-op friends!
The gutter behind the park is more interesting than the park itself.
Kids were catching minnows with nets.
At the park we found some more fungi!
Slime molds grow on the ground and look like dog vomit.
This interesting brown fungus was growing right next to the playground equipment.
Lots of fun playing today!
Max fell asleep on the way home, then woke up early, asking for the i-phone. Maybe it will be an early night.
This was taken right after Gabe said, "Mom, you're a super-wiener." Max immediately protested, "No, NOT! Mama, you awesome!" What a sweet boy! (I then got a hug and kiss from them both!)
