It Came from Beneath the Sink.

Oops ... We found out yesterday there was a book club project due Friday ...

So we had to use a book we already read:  It Came from Beneath the Sink!  (It's a Goosebumps book.)

The book genre is mystery (which this is, sort of), and the project format is a quadrama.

A family moves into a new house, and under the sink they discover an old sponge that is actually an evil creature.

It causes bad things to happen (like the dad falling off the ladder here), and then it feeds off the negative energy.

In the Encyclopedia of the Weird, they find out that this creature is called a Grool, and they have to find a way to destroy it before someone gets hurt or killed.  (In the end the main character sings it a lullaby and gives it a hug and a kiss.  It disappears in a puff of smoke.)

And then they find another evil creature from the same book under their sink, the Lanx (which looks like a potato with a mouth full of teeth).

The rest of the week is going to be busy with appointments, meetings, and errands!

Goodnight!
