Today was the last day of school before the Christmas holiday!
No, we don't have to keep the same holidays as TISD ... but we do, since Gabe wouldn't dream of doing any schoolwork if Joe is home to play! Joe has had a male teacher this year, but starting after the break, this guy is leaving. We heard the tale of his tearful departure. Joe's new teacher is going to be a lady. Gabe says, "I don't like my teacher. She's really mean." (Guess he is ready to trade me out too.)
Max likes to play songs on his Leapster toy. We were all laughing this morning because, despite having 25 other choices, he kept playing "This Old Man" over and over, and dancing to it.
He likes to crawl around the other side of the bed and hide. The downside is that he's always hitting his head on the wall and the windowsill.
So we made a new hiding spot. (Grandma made the boys a tent out of sheets this morning.)
Which Max enjoyed for awhile ...
... and then he was done!
Max knows how to turn on Buddy's i-pad, select the activity he wants to do, and play games or scroll through images.
Christmas is a busy time of year, and it can be overwhelming.
