Pico de gallo is my favorite. I make it differently every time. Here's how I made it today!
8 sliced Roma tomatoes
1/3 cup sliced white onion
1 small handful of cilantro, cut up
1 sliced jalapeño (wear gloves!)
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp salt
juice of 1 lime
Combine in covered bowl, put in refrigerator for awhile to let flavors mingle.
And here's the rundown of what happened today:
- Dan's e-mail was read and aired on the IGN UK podcast!
- Sent an extra orange-mandarin Juicy Juice to school with Gabe to give to Ellie because she said she'd bring him back something from Hawaii in exchange. She must have mixed up the days, though, because Gabe brought the juice back and said she was already in Hawaii!
- Mark Kistler came to Gabe's school for a demo art lesson today!
- More planning for next year's homeschool co-op. I may teach Spanish. Got a book in the mail called Teach Your Child Spanish Through Play.
- Made raisin bread in the bread machine.
- Max ate carrots and potatoes for the first time. He likes them!
- Wrote a review of the My Brest Friend nursing pillow.
