Merry Christmas!

Here's Max this morning, when we were trying to wake him up for Christmas.  He would not go to bed last night, and he woke up cranky!!

Grandma and Buddy share Christmas with Brian's family, then come over to open presents with us next ...

Gabe, enthusiastically engaged in opening presents as Max screams and cries because he's tired and wants to go back to sleep.

Max has been driving everyone crazy today with the fussing and screaming.  I think he may be getting sick.

So many wonderful presents at Granny and Gramps' house.  Thank you guys so much!!

Wow!  Presents for Mama and Daddy too, and exactly what we wanted!

Granny is not sure what to make of Gabe's figure with the long, pink forehead that curls around and touches his rear end.

Vegan muffins for breakfast.  (Thanks!)

Max comes home and goes back to sleep (with his new dinosaur -- thanks, Granny!).

Back up, and back to Granny's.

Max was still cranky ...

... but he loved his new dinosaur toys!  (Thanks Susie!)  And thanks, Rita, for the sweater!

With Aunt Amy.  (Thanks for Max's Angry Birds pillow, Gabe's money, and the fudge and corn dishes for Dan and me!)

Max was distracted by toys for a good while, and we had a great meal.

Then back home, where the other side of the family was just sitting down to eat!  Max was soooo cranky.

We got more gifts than we could hope for.  Thanks so much to everyone for everything.

Hopefully Maxie will feel more like celebrating tomorrow ...
