Mom and Dad put up all the signs in the woods.
Taking a walk, Max complained about sticks and ants and whined for his "feet back."
Barefoot and able to kick up dust, his feet felt fine!

Max wanted to pretend monsters were chasing us.
He loves the back woods ...
... which is not as dangerous as the signs would have you believe.
Looks like the pond will be dry for Halloween. At least we won't have to worry about anyone falling in!

Minutes later, Max fell on the cement, and his teeth made bloody gashes in his lip. The costume was covered with blood, but we managed to get the stains out.
Max is going to be okay ... Here's a picture I found on my camera when I came back out to get it.
